Wasilla-based troopers report that they collared a Wasilla man suspected of a recent string of armed robberies in Wasilla on Friday.
At 9:30 pm on Friday, Alaska State Troopers with the Criminal Suppression Unit, arrested 28-year-old Michael Longiny in connection to multiple armed robberies.
Specifically, Longiny was arrested in connection with the September 29th armed robbery of the Valley Country Store on Church Road, and the Valley Country Store Robbery on Bogard Road on November 14th.
Troopers say that Longiny is being investigated for two additional counts of Robbery I and Assault III by the Wasilla Police Department.
Longiny was transported to Palmer where he was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with his bail set at $25,000 and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian requirement.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
