On Friday, Alaska State Troopers responded to a Residence in the Engstrom Road neighborhood of Wasilla after receiving report of the naked adult male at 10:29 AM that morning.

When they arrived at the scene, they contacted 39-year-old Wasilla resident Jesse Smart. When they contacted him, Smart was completely nude.

When reporting the incident to troopers, the complainant, had said the suspect was attempting to break into the residence, but when troopers investigated, they found that Smart “had entered the residence and exposed himself to a mother and her two children (ages 2 and 3).” It was also found that the mother or children did not know Smart.

EMS responded to the scene and transported Smart Mat-Su Regional Medical Center for evaluation. When Smart was cleared from the center, he was placed under arrest and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where he was remanded on charges of Burglary I and Indecent Exposure II.
