Troopers Arrest Two Arizona Fugitives from Justice

trooperarrestTroopers disclosed on Monday that a Saturday traffic stop in Cantwell netted two fugitives from justice from the state of Arizona.

Troopers pulled over a 2014 Nissan Altima for speeding at mile 199 near Cantwell at 5:15 pm on Saturday afternoon, and contacted the driver, identified as 27-year-old Concepcion Vinder Mejia Escoto of Oregon. A quite background check found Escoto to be driving with a suspended Oregon driver’s license. Further investigation would find that she was also wanted in Maricopa County, Arizona and that both her and her passenger, Allexus Baker had outstanding felony warrants from that state. Their warrants from Arizona are connected with sex trafficking charges, troopers reported.

Bith Escoto and Baker were arrested, transported, and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center with their bail set at $50,000 for the Arizona Felony warrants.
