Alaska State Troopers report that they received a tip on the location of Tony Roberts, the man being actively searched for by Wildlife officers.
The tip, which was anonymous, informed the troopers that Roberts was in the Big Lake area and even had the house he was at.
After obtaining a search warrant to enter the home in Big Lake, Patrol Troopers, Wildlife Troopers and the Alaska Bureau of Investigations went to the residence.

They would find Roberts at the residence at about 10:15 this morning. He was found hiding under a bed.
Roberts was taken into custody and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
The search for Roberts began after authorities were alerted that Roberts’ ankle monitor had been tampered with. When responding officers arrived at the home of Roberts’ third-party custodian, they found the monitor had been ground off and it was found in the back yard of the home.
Roberts was being sought on a $50,000 contempt of court warrant.
