Troopers Investigate Jakalof Bay Oyster Theft

Troopers reported via trooper dispatch on Tuesday that the investigation of the theft of Oysters from an Oyster farm in Jakalof Bay is continuing.

It was reported to Anchor Point-based troopers on the afternoon of July 13th, that on July 4th, four people had trespassed onto the dock at the farm and stole Oysters from that location. 

As a result of the investigation, troopers have identified three of the four suspects. Identified were 47-year-old Christine Kulcheski, 45-year-old War Matthew Clarke and 38-year-old Rebecca Clarke, all of Homer. The fourth suspect has yet to be identified.

The three identified suspects have been charged with Theft IV and Criminal Trespass III.
