Alaska State Troopers made a traffic stop on a 1996 Saturn Sedan on Wednesday night and subsequently arrested the driver and two passengers in the vehicle.
After stopping the Saturn near Glacier Avenue in Palmer last night at approximately 10:17 pm, troopers found the driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old Wasilla resident, Michael Cloud to be driving with a revoked license. He was also found to have a $500 warrant for his arrest for a previous charge of Driving with a Revoked License.
As a result, troopers did a probations search of the vehicle. In doing so, they found that a passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Wasilla resident, Mark Tyree, to be in possession of heroin. Another passenger, 29-year-old Dana Hozworth, was found to be in possesssion of heroin and methamphetamine as well as implements for the sale of narcotics.
Cloud was charged with Driving with License Revoked and Misconduct Involving Weapons V. Tyree and Holzworth were charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.
All three individuals were arrested, transported to, and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, and held without bail.
