While in Lower Kalskag, a trooper, with the assistance of the village VPSO, charged and arrested a resident on a Felony Violation as well as Weapons Misconduct.

The AST and the VPSO contacted 23-year-old Ethan Vasily Kerr of Lower Kalskag as he sat in his green Chevy Pickup. The Alaska State Trooper was checking Kerr as per Kerr’s probation officer out of Bethel. Kerr was on probation for Assault III-Cause Injury with a Weapon.

During the probation check, Kerr was found to be in possession of a loaded Ruger pistol. Consequently, Kerr was arrested on probation violation as well as Misconduct Involving Weapons III. He was transported to the Aniak State Trooper Post where he was held pending arraignment.
