Two Arrested after Grayling Drinking/Assault Incident

ruraltrooperAniak-based troopers responded to Grayling following a report that a 15-year-old male had assaulted a 26-year-old man there on Saturday.

When they arrived at Grayling at 9 am, and began their investigation, it was revealed that 26-year-old Robert  Maillelle had been assaulted by the juvenile. As a result, troopers forwarded charges to the Bethel Juvenile Justice for review.

Less than four hours later, as they continued their investigation into the incident, troopers contacted and arrested 25-year-old Patrick Golilie of Anchorage for physically assaulting the 15-year-old juvenile. He was arrested on Assault III charges.

Five minutes later, at 12:50 pm, troopers also arrested 26-year-old Robert Maillelle at the direction of the Bethel Probations office on a Parole Violation, troopers reported. Maillelle had admitted to troopers during an interview that he had been consuming alcohol Thursday night. He had violated his probation by consuming alcohol and being in the community of Grayling, it was revealed by troopers.

Both Golilie and Maillelle were transported to Aniak, then on to the Bethel Jail.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
