Alaska State Troopers scored a two-for-one when they went to a Soldotna residence to make contact and arrest a Soldotna woman wanted on a warrant on Monday evening.
When troopers arrived at the residence, they made contact with 44-year-old Joanna Samson-Sills who was known to be the subject of a $5,000 arrest warrant for five counts of Theft II and one count of Theft IV. She was taken into custody.
While at the residence, troopers also found 28-year-old Bridget Samson hiding in a bedroom of the home. Bridget also had warrants for her arrest, three in total for Failure to Remand on a conviction of Forgery I and Theft II, Failure to Remand on a Forgery II, Theft II and Theft III conviction, and five counts of Theft II and one count of Theft IV that are current.
Both women were taken to and remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility in Kenai on their respective warrants.
