Last night, a motor vehicle accident involving an ATV on mile 2.5 of Wasilla Fishhook was reported to Alaska State troopers.
Troopers responded to the scene in Wasilla at 9:20 PM Wednesday, and located 32-year-old Vladimir Kozak and a two-year-old family member walking a short distance from the accident.

The trooper investigation determined that Kozak was traveling northbound on the ATV trail near Wasilla when he lost control of his Yamaha ATV. Kozak and his two-year-old passenger were thrown from the vehicle during the accident.
It was determined that Kozak was driving under the influence.
Kozak was charged and arrested for DUI, Reckless Endangerment, Aand Endangering the Welfare of a Minor I.
The Wasilla man was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial in Palmer and his bail was set at $500.
The two-year-old child, after being examined by medical personnel and determining that he was uninjured, was released to his mother.
