Early Wednesday morning, troopers pulled over a Yamaha four-wheeler for driving on the roadway on Bogard Road near Williwaw Drive.
The 1:56 am traffic stop on the Yamaha would find that the driver of the four-wheeler, 31-year-old Wasilla resident, Thomas Hofmann II, had stolen the four-wheeler.
Troopers would also find, that along with the ATV, Hofmann had also stolen a firearm, various pieces of aircraft safety equipment, clothing and tools from a local business.
Hofmann was arrested on charges of Burglary II, three counts of Theft II, Vehicle Theft II, Misconduct Involving a Weapon III and V, and Criminal Trespass II.
Hofmann was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where he was remanded with no bail set pending arraignment.
