According to a Alaska State Trooper dispatch released on New Years Day, a Wasilla woman was apprehended after attempting to steal a vehicle for a second time.
At 4:15pm on New Years Day, the Alaska State Troopers in Wasilla arrested 29-year-old Wasilla resident Brandi Slover for Vehicle Theft and Attempted Vehicle Theft and Criminal Trespass.
The trooper investigation found that two days prior to New Years, Slover had stolen an Oldsmobile Cutlass from a Meadow Lakes Loop residence. She had broken into a motorhome on the property and acquired the keys to the Cutlass, which she used to abscond with the vehicle.
