During an investigation on Thursday, Investigators with the Mat-Su Drug Unit as well as the Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team executed a search warrant.
The investigators went to a home on Pioneer Peak Drive at 5:11 pm on Thursday.
As a reesult of their investigation at that residence, investigators turned up 100 grams of heroin, 15 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material.
Everything was seized and the investigators identified and arrested the owner of the residence. Troopers report that 52-year-old Wasilla resident Brenda Cox was the owner of the house.
The investigation revealed that Cox was responsible for the distribution of heroin and methamphetamine
Cox was arrested and charged with MICS II, MICS III, and MICS IV. She was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where she was remanded and bail set at $30,000 plus a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.
