Troopers report  that they have made an arrest in the shooting death of 76-year-old Phillip Gray of Wasilla who was found dead in Wasilla on Sunday afternoon.

Troopers have arrested 27-year-old April Cox and charged her with Murder II in connection with the death of Gray, who was reported to have been  found deceased at 12:42 pm off of Horizon Drive on Sunday. She was arrested less than 10 hours after the body of Gray was discovered.

Gray’s remains were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage for autopsy.

Gray’s next of kin was notified of his death.

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
