At Shortly after 2 this morning, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a disturbance on Bading Lane near Willow.
When they arrived at the scene witnesses described how Barry J. Cupps, age 41, of Wasilla, had used his truck to shove another truck into the front of a residence. The incident caused damage to garage doors as well a main support beam. It was found that he had also assaulted the resident of the house.

Cupps had left the residence before officers arrived on the scene. Officers were able to locate Cupps later at a residence in Wasilla on Leora Drive. He was arrested there and charged on two counts of Criminal Michief in the Third Degree, Assault in the Third Degree,Reckless Endangerment, and Driving Under the Influence.
It was determined that Cupps had caused approximately $10,000 worth of damage to the house and vehicle.
Cupps was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility and remanded without bail.
