Eluding Palmer Driver Arrested by Troopers

After receiving a report of a report of a stolen vehicle by a male known to have several warrants, troopers responded to the scene on Monte Carlo Lane in Palmer on Saturday.

When they arrived at the scene, they gave chase and the driver of the stolen vehicle attempted to elude the troopers, driving at high speed through the back yard belonging to a resident there. But, soon crashed the vehicle.

After crashing, the driver, later identified as 25-year-old Palmer resident, Edward Hamilton, fled the vehicle on foot. He was soon apprehended however.

Hamilton was arrested by troopers on his active warrants as well Eluding I, and Reckless Driving. He was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility with his bail set at $27,000 and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.
