Rooftop Disturbance Call Results in Warrant Arrests for Two

While Anchorage police did not arrest suspects in connection to a domestic-related disturbance call on Friday evening, the two individuals involved were arrested on existing arrest warrants, APD revealed.

1 patrol officers arrived at the residence on the 1500 block of E. 43rd Court at 7:40 PM on Friday, they found the two suspects on the roof of the residence. One of the suspects was identified as 26-year-old Casey Mayer and was found to have a felony Assault III warrant and an additional felony warrant for “Fail to Appear on the original charge of Misconduct Involving a Weapon III.”

A perimeter was set up and in order to ascertain whether or not the two men had weapons, the Alaska state trooper helicopter responded and did an aerial assist and was able to confirm that neither of the two men were armed. Police officers then convinced the two men to come down off of the roof and surrender.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adversal-468×60″]

Both men were transported to the Anchorage Jail and remanded there on their warrants.
