A report went in to the Alaska State Troopers on Saturday reporting the discovery of human remains on Willow Creek.
The call, that went in to troopers at 6:56 pm on Saturday, reported the discovery of human remains at Willow Creek at mile 71 of the Parks Highway.
The remains were found on a sandbar at that location. The scene was about .5 miles downstream of the bridge on the Parks Highway, troopers reported.
The identity of the the remains are undetermined at this time. The body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage.
The investigation continues in the incident.
