The search for accused former Bethel Police Officer 23-year-old Aaron Fedolfi is over, and he faced charges of Attempted Sexual Assault III and Official Misconduct charges in Anchorage court on Wednesday. 

The official arraignment on charges will take place on Thursday, as the Anchorage court awaited charges from the Bethel court.

It was on September 12th, that Fedolfi picked up an intoxicated woman during the early morning hours and, instead of logging in the pick-up, or calling in to dispatch, took her to the Bethel Dog Pound on the outskirts of town, where, court documents say, he tried to force the woman into performing oral sex on him.

[xyz-ihs snippet=”adsense-body-ad”]An investigation into the incident was immediately opened by troopers and the Alaska Bureau of Investigation. Officials asked the public for information as to his whereabouts late last week. He was arrested in Anchorage late Tuesday after he contacted Anchorage authorities to make arraignments to turn himself in.

Fedolfi’s bail is set at $20,000 and a Court-Approved Third Party Custodian.
