The intense search for 36-year-old Joseph Baalderas, who was reported missing on June 27th, has been suspended pending further leads, the trooper dispatch announced this week.
Despite their best efforts, the US Coast Guard, Nome Search and Rescue, National Park Service, City of Nome, Civil Air Patrol, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Mat SAR, Fairbanks Paws have uncovered no evidence of the whereabouts of the hiker who disappeared near the Nome-Council Highway.
The missing man’s vehicle was located on June 27th at mile 44 of the highway. Balderas was reported as missing when he did not report to work that day.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
