Anchorage, Alaska – Ahtna, Incorporated announced that Doug Miller will join the Ahtna management team as Vice President of Human Resources.
Miller goes to Ahtna from the Alaska Native Tribal Heath Consortium where he served in a variety of roles from human resource director to chief workforce officer over a span of 10 years. During this time, he provided leadership and oversight over all human resource programs in an organization that consisted of over 2,200 employees. Miller brings 16 years of progressive human resources experience to Ahtna, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources.
Miller’s extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of human resources, especially with Native organizations, will add great value and benefit to the Ahtna family of companies and Ahtna’s shareholders.
Doug Miller is married to Maureen Miller and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. He is a lifelong Alaskan and loves to play hockey, go fishing, and sports cars.
