AWA’s mission is to advocate for balanced ecosystem management to protect the state’s wildlife for current and future generations. The Fun Run serves as a major fundraiser for the Anchorage-based not-for-profit organization
“This is our fifth year hosting a Fun Run event and every year we’ve not only met our fundraising goals, but continued to increase participation,” said John Toppenberg, Director of AWA. “The Run is always a fun, family event, and a great way to help us raise money and awareness for Alaska’s wildlife.”
