ANCHORAGE – The Anchorage Police Department will be holding three public Community Crime trainings to educate residents how to find crime data for their area. Community Crime Map, formerly RAIDS Online, allows residents to monitor crime in their area, receive emails with updated data, and track crime trends.
“The department takes pride that so much data is readily available to the public,” said Chief Chris Tolley. “Training residents on how to use this valuable tool will allow them to better understand what is happening in their area and provide more access to their police force.”
The trainings will take place:
- Thursday, October 20th from 6-7pm at the APD Training Center 3760 W. Dimond Blvd.
- Wednesday, November 16th at 6pm at the Federation of Community Councils 1057 W. Fireweed
- Saturday, December 10th from 12-2pm at Eagle River High School 8701 Yosemite Dr.
