Arrest Made in Wasilla Recycling Center Robbery

After a 10-day investigation, troopers report that they have made an arrest in the robbery at the Grant Recycling Center in Wasilla that took place on March 24th.

On Thursday, after an investigation by the Trooper Criminal Suppression Unit in Palmer and the Palmer ABI Major Crimes Unit, troopers made an arrest in the robbery case at a Wasilla recycling center, trooper dispatch reports. Arrested in connection with the robbery after being identified as the man who assaulted an employee at the center, before robbing them of hundreds of dollars and their cell phone,  was 24-year-old James Pistro of Wasilla.

Pistro was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded there on charges of Robbery II, Theft II, and Assault IV.
