It was announced by the Alaska State Troopers that funding ended for the search of two snow machiners lost between Kotzebue and Selawik. That funding ended as of 5 pm Wednesday.

It was announced on Thursday by the Alaska State Trooper dispatch that an arrest was made in the death of Trefim Wassillie, who perished in Lake Iliamna and was found by his mother face-down in the lake on September 16th, 2012.

Fair Chase Guide Sentenced for Two Counts of Unlawfully Taken Sheep

It was announced Wednesday by Karen Loeffler, U.S. Attorney for the Justice Department that Canadian, Patrick J. Downey of Turner Valley Alberta, was sentenced in May to the sale of unlawfully taken and possessed Dall Sheep.

This evening, Mount Vernon would suffer a catastrophe on the Skagit River as the four-lane I-5 bridge collapsed in the river taking cars and people with it.
