Glennallen Couple Sentenced for Trafficking Walrus Tusks, Polar Bear Hides, and Machine Guns

GLENNALLEN, Alaska-The Glennallen couple, Jesse LeBoeuf, age 47, and Loretta Sternbach, age 52, were sentenced on Tuesday in federal court. The couple, along with Richard Weshenfelder, were indicted on charges of violations of the Lacy Act, conspiracy, as well as possession of, and trafficking in machine guns in April of this year.

Anchorage Police Release Names in Suspected Murder/Suicide.

SOUTH ANCHORAGE-Anchorage police have released more information in the South Anchorage case of the slain man and woman on Bona Kim Loop. They have released the names of the victims and a preliminary cause of death as a result of their investigations.

Collision at Mile 13 Seward Highway Claims Victim

SEWARD HIGHWAY-At about 9:40 pm last night, a call was received at the Soldotna Public Safety Communications Center reporting a head on collision at Mile 13 of the Seward Highway. Alaska State Troopers arrived to find an accident involving two vehicles, a 1993 Chevrolet Suburban, and a 1992 Chevy Pickup.
