Old Harbor Man Arrested for Felony DUI and while License Revoked until 2060

While operating a four-wheeler in the community of Old Harbor, 31-year-old Dwayne Keeling was stopped and contacted by the village's VPSO. He had stopped Keeling in regards to a $5,000 bench warrant that had been issued for Keeling.

Hypothermic Rafter near Delta Junction Rescued by Alaska National Guardsmen

While sheep-hunting up the Gerstle River about 25 miles southeast of Delta Junction, 56-year-old Michael Vogel, along with 62-year-old Melvin Iler suffered an accident when their raft overturned. When that happened, Vogel got entangled and was drug behind the raft for quite a distance through the swift-running current.

Defense attorneys for Jodi Arias had submitted a motion to the judge in the case, Judge Sherry Stephens, to set aside the Arizona jury's determination that Arias killed Travis Alexander in an "especially cruel manner," which would make he eligible for the death sentence. Their request was denied.
