On Fourth of July morning, the Skipper of the 62-foot fishing vessel Anna Lane called in to Alaska State Troopers and notified them that the other person on his crew had gotten caught in the anchor winch and he was unable to extract him.
At 3:30 am early Thursday morning, fishermen tied up at the Alaska General Seafoods cannery dock observed flames coming from another vessel, the Pauline II, which was also tied up at the dock.
On Wednesday at approximately 7 pm, a 911 call went in to the Alaska State Troopers reporting an overturned kayak with a man in the water in the Copper River.
