A woman put in a 911 call to troopers mid-morning on the Fourth of July while running towards the highway from a cabin near Eureka.
While on the phone at 9:43 am, she explained to the troopers that she was wearing only a bra and was fleeing from her boyfriend who was extremely drunk and following her in her vehicle. She related to troopers that he had threatened to assault her in the cabin.

Troopers arrived at the scene and contacted both of the parties involved in the incident.
After a trooper investigation at the scene, troopers determined that 35-year-old Eureka resident Harold Macy Hobson had assaulted the female in distress and had been driving drunk.
Hobson was arrested on Assault IV DV charges as well as Felony DUI.
Hobson was transported and remanded to the Glennallen Alaska State Trooper post where he was held pending arraignment.
This is Hobson’s second Felony DUI, his first occured in June of 2011, he was still on probation from that previous Felony DUI.
