The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Office of Law Enforcement is investigating the death of two golden eagles near Chickaloon, Alaska. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to a conviction of the person or persons responsible for killing the eagles.
Kevin C. Donovan, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the FBI, state of Alaska, advises that Alaskans may be targeted for an ongoing e-mail-based scheme that threatens death to the recipient by an unknown professional hitman.
It was announced in Anchorage yesterday that the former president of the Native Village of Tatitlek, Lori Clum, formerly Lori "Sue" Johnson, was arrested for Theft of Funds from the Tribal organization.
