JUNEAU, Alaska — Coast Guard Station Ketchikan crewmembers assisted four people after their 40-foot pleasure craft was disabled and in danger of running aground nine miles southwest of Ketchikan April 21, 2012.
Yesterday, at about 10:35 am, authorities arrested the driver of the Toyota SUV that struck the seven-year-old girl on the Kenai Peninsula.
At 1`:26 pm yesterday afternoon, Soldotna Public Safety Communication Center received a report of a crash at the intersection of the Kenai Spur Highway and Lois Drive near milepost 25.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, at 1:48 am, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of shots fired at a Wasilla residence. The troopers arrived to the scene at 1:52 am to find two individuals who had suffered gunshot wounds.
