In what Kodiak police are calling unrelated incidences, two men were found dead in each of Kodiak's boat harbors last Friday.

Each of the men, 44-year-old David Babarovich and 41-year-old Thaddeus Zdobylak, were found on fishing vessels.

The first of the two, Babarovich, was found on a boat in the St Herman Harbor early Friday at 2:22 am.

The second man, Zdobylak, was found on a vessel in Kodiak’s St Paul Harbor on Friday afternoon at 2:37 pm.

Kodiak Police say that neither of the bodies showed any signs of trauma.

The remains of both men have been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage for autopsy.

Police are treating each death separately.
