Minnesota Government Will Soon Be Up and Running

PAUL,MINNESOTA-Mark Dayton, the Governor of the state of Minnesota, told the people of that state that the government would be back in business very soon, as he announced that the impasse that closed down the state government there was over. This ends the longest state shutdown in recent history that started 2 weeks ago.

Allakaket Man Suffers Gunshot Blast at Late Night Party

FAIRBANKS-At three o’clock in the morning, Wednesday, July 13th, Alaska State troopers in Fairbanks received a call from Allakaket of a person shot with a shotgun in the leg. After arriving in Allakaket, investigation revealed that during a scuffle that night, while fighting for control of a shotgun, it discharged striking Joseph Semaken.

Two Planes Collide Mid-Air, Return Safely

ALASKA-Two small planes collided mid-air over Lake Clark Pass at 2,300 feet on Sunday afternoon, but were able to land safely in Anchorage after the incident. Neither pilot saw the other until the impact was imminent. No one was injured in the accident.
