The White House, after receiving the new assessment from the National Security Council, has decided to provide new assistance to the Syrian opposition, that new assistance will include unspecified military aid.
The man who was previously identified as Victor Rodriguez Flores, who shot his boss at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel in late October of 2011, still awaits his state trial for his crime. But, Flores, now known by his real name of Javier Martinez was convicted of 12 counts in Federal Court on Thursday.
It was announced to the public Wednesday, by U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler, that a Washington man, Matthew Edward Shubert of Yakima, was sentenced in Anchorage Federal Court for advertising child pornography in Alaska.
