A Fairbanks brother and sister were sentenced in Federal Court on Friday for Heroin and money laundering conspiracy according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The investigation is continuing after troopers responded to a call reporting possible deceased persons in the Meadow Lakes area of Wasilla on Sunday morning.
A resident of Shageluk reported a house fire to Alaska State Troopers at 3:57 am on Saturday morning.
On Friday, Alaska State Troopers traveled to Kwethluk and served outstanding warrants on two residents of that community on Sexual Abuse charges.
