Icy Conditions Results in Monday Fatality on Steese Highway
On Tuesday, at approximately 7:30 am, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of an accident involving a single vehicle on the Steese Highway at mile 17.
Bristol Bay Native Corporation to Acquire Peak Oilfield Service Company
It was announced yesterday by the Bristol Bay Native Corporation that they have signed an agreement with Nabors Alaska Services Corporation to acquire full ownership of its subsidiary, Peak Oilfield Service Company LLC.The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2013.

A Michigan man, 41-year-old Mark Harry Smith, was sentenced on Friday to 126 months, or 10.5 years, in prison for distribution of child pornography according to U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler on Tuesday.
