Anchorage Museum Switches to Summer Hours, New Prices, New Planetarium Schedule May 1

Wednesday the Anchorage Museum returns to its summer schedule, which is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Summer hours are in effect through Sept. 30.

Anchorage Museum Association Begins Search for New Museum Director

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Anchorage Museum Association has begun an international search for a new director and chief executive officer of the association and the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center. The new director will replace current Museum Director James Pepper Henry, who recently accepted a position as director of the Heard Museum in Phoenix.
