KODIAK, Alaska — The Coast Guard and Sitka Mountain Rescue located a missing boater and safely reunited him with his family in Sitka Sound Tuesday.
Tug Polar Wind Runs Aground Near Cold Bay, Coast Guard Lifts 5 Crew from the Stricken Vessel
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Coast Guard rescued five crewmembers from the tug vessel Polar Wind which ran aground and began taking on water 20 miles east of Cold Bay at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday.
