Only 20% of America Thinks Government Anti-Poverty Programs Work

AUGUST 26-Increasingly, Americans across the country are beginning to feel that the government’s anti-poverty programs hurt more than help and they are causing more poverty in the country. This according to Rasmussen’s Reports, a major national poll taker, who released its latest poll numbers on government programs aiding poverty.

5.8 Earthquake Jostles East Coast Residents

WASHINGTON D.C.-AN earthquake struck five miles South Southwest of Mineral, Virginia at 1:51 pm Eastern Time today. It originated at a depth of 3.7 miles. At a magnitude of 5.8, the quake was the largest quake ever recorded in that area and was felt along much of the East Coast.
