Black Hawk Crew Rescues Man near Emmonak

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON — Alaska Guardsmen with Army Aviation Operating Facility 2, located in Bethel, rescued an elderly man at a remote cabin near Emmonak, March 12.

Remains Found in Frozen Koyukuk River May be those of Ralph Silas

The remains found in the frozen Koyukuk River, below the bluff upriver from the village of Koyukuk on March 6th, have been tentatively identified as those of 57-year-old Ralph Silas.
