At 3 am on Friday morning, Alaska State Troopers were alerted to a burglary near mile 307 of the Parks Highway in Nenana.

On Friday night, at about 9:30 pm, two hitchhikers contacted the Alaska State Troopers to report that they had been assaulted and robbed by a person who had picked them up on Kalifornsky Beach Road.

Naknek Woman Due in Court for Shooting, Dumping Two Brown Bear Cubs in Naknek River

After receiving a report of two dead bear cubs in the Naknek River on June 17th, Alaska State Troopers met with 36-year-old Katie Copps-Wilson of Naknek to ask her about the bear carcasses.
