Alaska State Troopers Assist Kodiak Police on Sunday Manhunt
Trooper dispatch reported that on Sunday morning at approximately 5:10 am, Kodiak Police took up a car chase in an attempt to stop a fleeing vehicle in the edge of Kodiak.
Alaska State Troopers Starting a Criminal Suppression Unit in the Mat-Su Valley
(PALMER, Alaska) – Starting January 1, 2014, Mat-Su Valley residents will have a unit of troopers working to combat property crimes, the Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU). One sergeant and three troopers have already been assembled and are diligently collecting information and will be ready for the official start date.

Three South-Central Men Sentenced for Illegal 2012 Moose Hunt in Denali National Park
Three South-Central man pled guilty and were sentenced for the violating the Lacey act in the illegal hunting, take and transport of two bull Moose, shot in the Denali National Park in September of 2012 it was announced by US Atty. Karen L. Loeffler on Monday.
