Anchorage Police Department has received 10 reports and multiple other complaints regarding the “Grandparent Scam.” In one case a person sounding just like the grandmother’s grandson called to tell her he had been in a wreck and needed money for medical bills.

Troopers Investigate Murder/Suicide in Wasilla

In the early morning hours of Saturday, at 1:48 am, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of shots fired at a Wasilla residence. The troopers arrived to the scene at 1:52 am to find two individuals who had suffered gunshot wounds.

Human Trafficking Bill Passed by Alaska Legislature
