Son of Wasilla Representative, Robin Gattis Sentenced to 16 Years

20-year-old Robin Gattis, admitted drug dealer, confessed drug conspiracy ringleader, and son of Wasilla's Representative Lynn Gattis, was sentenced to 16 years in U.S. District Court on Drug Conspiracy charges during a three-hour sentencing hearing on Thursday.

Flags Lowered for Judge von der Heydt

December 5, 2013, Anchorage, Alaska – Governor Sean Parnell ordered state flags to be lowered to half-staff on Friday in honor of Judge James von der Heydt. Judge von der Heydt died on December 1. He was 94.
