500 People Injured as Meteor Explodes over Russia

As people heading to work in the city of Chelyabinsk, a meteor streaked across the sky traveling over 19 miles a second, then exploding in a tremendous blast that injured over 500 people on the ground.

North Korea claims to have detonated a nuclear device this week in an underground test. Nuclear experts around the world concur that the test took place and that the device had a 6-7 kiloton yield.

South Korea Unveils Cruise Missile System on Northern Border

The South Korean Defense Ministry announced that its cruise missile deployment is now complete. Although the exact range of the missile was not divulged, the Defense Ministry says that it can strike anywhere in North Korea, including the offices of the North Korean government.
