Thomas Morrical, the Eagle River man wanted on 12 counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor was taken into custody on Friday afternoon, APD has reported.

APD had advised that Morrical was believed to be in the small Texas community of Mineral Springs and had been avoiding law enforcement.

But, after receiving further information as to Morrical’s whereabouts, they responded to the 17600-block of Laoana Circle in Eagle River at just before 1:30 pm, contacted Morrical and placed him into custody on the outstanding warrants.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]Investigators say that they are continuing to gather information in their investigation and advise that they believe “that Morrical had access to more children and that there are more victims.” They also report that “Detectives are currently seeking information from individuals who knew Morrical in Eagle River around the year 2007.”
