Alaska State Troopers received a report of an unconscious female at a residence in Copper Center on Wednesday.

After AST received the report at 10:37 am, EMS dispatched to the scene where CPR was already being administered to 26-year-old Sylvia Jackson.

Jackson was transported to the Cross Road Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

The State medical Examiner’s office was notified and the next of kin was present at the time of death.

The investigation into Jackson’s death is continueing.
