Economic Development Administration:

• $1,000,000 to the City of Nome for its port construction project
• $697,991 to the Association of Village Council of Presidents for the Aviation Mechanics Program Training Equipment

National Endowment for the Arts “Big Read” Program

• $14,900 to KCHU in Valdez, Alaska
• $9,000 to the Friends of the Homer Public Library

National Science Foundation:

• $499,044 to University of Alaska Fairbanks for “RCN: The Stream Resiliency Research Coordination Network” project
• $231,194 to the University of Alaska Fairbanks for “Natural History Digitization of Arctic and Sub-Arctic Marine Invertebrate Collections”
