Delta Junction Man Arrested on Kidnapping, Sexual Assault Charges

alaska crimew-cuffsA Delta Junction man is behind bars after being arrested on Kidnapping, Sexual Assault II, and three counts of Assault II after a serious domestic disturbance called in to troopers at 5:30 pm on Sunday.

According to the trooper dispatch, 55-year-old David Bucci of Delta Junction, assaulted his girlfriend over a period that spanned several hours. In the post it stated that Bucci “strangled, hog tied, threatened with knife, punched, and sexually assaulted her for over 6 hours.” The trooper dispatch went on to state that Bucci forced his victim to call her loved ones to say goodbye by threatening to bludgeon her head. He had made her make the calls because he was going to kill her and then himself, troopers say.[xyz-ihs snippet=”adsense-body-ad”]Bucci was ultimately arrested on the charges and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

The victim had also been granted Long-Term Protective Orders against Bucci, which he violated. He has several open cases spanning the last three months according to the online court records site.

The victim received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
