Anchorage, Alaska – Governor Sean Parnell has ordered state flags to be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday, June 18, in honor and memory of former Representative John (Jack) G. Fuller. Representative Fuller died June 11 in Wasilla. He was 91.

Prior to his election to the Alaska House of Representatives in 1978, Fuller served in the Marine Corps, the Michigan National Guard, and the Alaska National Guard. He also served with the Alaska Defense Force, chaired the board of directors of the Norton Sound Health Corporation, and served as president of the Wasilla Senior Center.
Representative Fuller is survived by his wife and two daughters. State flags will be lowered on Tuesday and raised to full-staff the following morning.
